SportEvac is a discrete event simulation model, developed in a partnership with the Department of Homeland Security that evaluates evacuation plans and pedestrian flow for any stadium, arena, school or similar sporting complex. SportEvac executes simulations based upon unique threat scenarios by utilizing validated algorithms for processing crowd behavior and producing results in the form of 3D animation as well as statistical reports. The model allows any stakeholder to objectively determine evacuation times, survivability factors, ingress processing times, choke point elements and mitigation strategies to effectively train and prepare all levels of security for any emergency, threat, or natural disaster.
SportEvac utilizes a full scale 3D model customized to any stadium, arena, or
